BENUE: THUNDERSTORM STRIKE, KILLS YOUNG GIRL IN MBAIWEN, ADIKPO

Adikpo, Kwande Local Government, Benue State - Yesterday, a devastating incident occurred at Mrs. Celina Agbatse's compound in Mbaiwen, Adikpo, resulting in the tragic death of a young girl.

According to eyewitnesses, the victim had ventured out to fetch water when the rain started. Seeking shelter, she hid in front of the house, waiting for the rain to pass. Unfortunately, a thunderstone struck her, causing fatal injuries.

The victim was immediately rushed to the General Hospital in Adikpo, where she was pronounced dead. Her body has been deposited in the hospital's mortuary.
