This is a key role supporting the implementation and management of a new Merchant Services Change Management program. The role is an individual contributor role responsible for a portfolio of work that impacts Merchant Services, including business process, people, systems, and technology.

 The candidate will help drive development initiatives as the program is stood up and will transition to owning/executing various procedures along the change lifecycle, once the program is live. Critical to success is having a solid understanding of Change Management, Project/Product Management, Communications, and Controls & Compliance best practices.


In this role, you will:

  • Partner directly with the Change Management Sr. Manager supporting strategic planning and business execution on a complex portfolio of initiatives.
  • Manage daily activities such as disposition of new change requests, impact analysis, book of work oversight, forum facilitation, and reporting.
  • Proactively engage functional leaders to coordinate outcomes, address procedural conflict, and ensure alignment with Wells Fargo policies and strategic objectives.
  • Create and maintain executive communication strategy including content development.
  • Analyze advanced data sets, both qualitative and quantitative, from multiple sources to support oversight of Change Management operations, build business cases, and communications
  • Drive accountability for assigned initiatives, limit risk exposure, and create efficiencies as appropriate
  • Coordinate and help the team perform change management training, including working with internal resources to identify topic or subject areas that require training, identifying the scope of the required training and working within communications to deliver required training
  • Help develop an integrated change release plan that is coordinated with the 2023 change management strategy for Merchant Services
  • Support change implementation by identifying ways to improve workflow and offer recommendations and support for the team
  • Proactively identify and resolve execution risks and bottlenecks throughout the Change Management organization
  • Perform complex administrative, and operational support tasks
  • Interact with peers, management, and technology on implementation of strategy, methods, and plans for initiatives that impact workflow

  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, and Project) skill
  • Ability to research, compile, and present critical operational data in executive summaries
  • Experience with large-scale process transformation initiatives
  • Experience building partnerships and consulting effectively with leadership.
  • Demonstrated project delivery experience commercializing new business opportunities from concept to reality, with an emphasis on meeting deadlines
  • Ability to tactically drive multiple initiatives, solve problems, prioritize work, meet deadlines, and learn quickly in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
