Pastor W.F. Kumuyi, the General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry spoke to his members about "The Promise Of Life Beyond Earthly Limitations" at the Combined Sunday worship service message. He read the book of Genesis 47:8-9 which says, "And Pharaoh said unto Jacob, How old thou art? And Jacob said unto Pharaoh, the days of the years of my pilgrimage are a hundred and thirty years: few and evil have the days of the years of my life been, and have not attained unto the days of the years of the life of my fathers in the days of their pilgrimage."
He said that Pharaoh asked Jacob about his age. He had gone through so much stress and challenges. So take note that carrying too many loads and weights on your head makes you look older than your age. When you sleep, wake, eat and drink with trouble, you look older. Cheer up, cheer up.
He then sends an important message to single sisters who are planning to get married.
He said,
"To my sister who wants to get married, you will get your husband. But when you carry the weight on your head, and you cry and frown all the time, and in your closet, you tell God you want to die, you will look older than your age and men will run away from you. They will assume you are older than you really are. Cheer up, look good, smile, so that when God points you to your husband-to-be, he will readily accept you." So this is a reason why some men could run away from some sisters so they need to be careful.
So, Jacob said he was 130 years old but, evil trauma had been his companion for so long. However, Jacob lived to be 147 years before he died. Joseph was 17 years when he left home to look for his brothers. 17 years which was the best part of his life. After God brought them together, Jacob lived another 17 years, and the happiest years were repeated again for him. The days of tears were over, his tears were wiped away.
Finally, he said,

Finally, he said,
"This is applicable to you: your latter years will be more happy and joyful than the best years you have spent in the past in Jesus' name."
