As an African you’re not supposed to kneel when proposing to a woman.
Hence, a Facebook Poster once said;

As a man, when you get on your knees to propose to a woman, some TERRIBLE things will happen to you before, after or in the middle of the marriage.
- Getting on your knees to propose is an insult to manhood! In fact ur pee pee should be cut off and use as burnt sacrifice to the gods and ancestors.
