Just In: Niger State House of Assembly sacks leader

Members of the Niger State House of Assembly have removed the Majority Leader, Bala Abba from office.

The Majority Leader, Bala Abba and his Deputy, Binta Mamman were accused by the members of negligence of duty.
After their removal from office, there was debate by the lawmakers on the Deputy Leader who is currently undergoing treatment after testing positive for Covid-19. Her removal was therefore reversed.
