... Why me? Why am I being treated like a slave? Did I offend God? I was still lying half-dead until Abimbola screamed my name in her normal rude manner
"Arike! Arike! Arike o! I managed to give a response
Abimbola is my Uncle's first daughter; that makes her my cousin. Abimbola is such a rude, ill mannered and proud girl; she hates me so much that she treats me like a piece of trash. I started staying with my Uncle after my parents died in a ghast auto crash on their way from the city market. Life has been so bitter and unpleasant for me in particular.
"Chief Slave! That's what you are and I'll always call you that" This is Abimbola in her usual ways.
"Daddy is calling you"
E don happen! I said silently
Whenever my Uncle sent for me I know it has to do with something I'll tell you later.
