HOW I SENT TWO YOUTH TO SECLUSION FOR CREATIVITY - Nasiru Muhammed

HOW I SENT TWO YOUTH TO SECLUSION FOR CREATIVITY — Entrepreneurial Comradeship

Nine days ago, I had an intellectual discussion with two energized youth. We met somewhere in Bida, Niger State. They're initially not my friends but friends to my long time Secondary School friend. One of the youth is a Graduate of Computer Science and other is a potential Graduate of Biology from Federal Polytechnic Bida and ABU, Zaria respectively.

Initially, our discussion centered on politics and state of our education, economy, health and so on. There came a point we seemed to reach a conclusion that we've to join politics to enjoy as they (politicians) enjoy our national asset. This is where I stood out and told them I am different here because I've a different thoughts regards politics.

They talked and laughed on me, seeing that I'm among those who still have the idea that one day, the dead will become alive in the same room. That's, having faith that Nigeria will be good one day. I didn't mind. I requested them to give me time to explain myself. Thank God. They gave. I told them this....

The day people like us accept not to actively partake in politics the day politics become harm than good. But what makes everything a success or a failure, at most time, it's the reasons that make you to do it. Asides, the process also plays vital role. Today, you want us to join politics because of what? You want us to join politics at what level? Is it because you think graduates don't have jobs? Or, is it because jobs are not available? Is it because the money you want is only obtainable from politics?. Without wasting their time to provide answers, I told them that you won't have the best answer which are sincere and objective.

I told them that here are the ways. The rich people in the world are entrepreneurs. And these are people who control the world, economically. So, if you're an entrepreneur, you're leader. You control the world availably slot for you. Dangote controls his millions staffs and part of people that controls Nigeria, Africa and global economy. Mark Zukerbarge controls the world. Even those he doesn't see. If today, Facebook is halted the world will suffer and some businesses will damage. I gave these two instances because to become like Dangote, you will say it requires a initial huge capital. What if it's the other instance? You just require CREATIVITY. Smiles....

I continued....

Sirs, let do simple arithmetic. Nigeria has about 200M estimated population, if you succeeded to have and own an innovation from creative thinking that 10% of 200M people will compulsorily use everyday, at #1.00K. You will get 20M naira everyday. Isn't this obtainable or easy? They're both.

Coming down to politics, the reason that prompted most youth into politics is not wise. The level most of the youth wanted to start and remain is illogical. The energy most of them invested is too much. And this has been the reason why most of them still fail themselves and the societies and nation they came from.

I know of the youths who have been in politics for the past 16+ years and upto now they don't make it as expected and hoped. It's time we change our thinking. We have entrepreneurial thinking because there are jobs but we earlier failed to man our efforts towards this current years job opportunities.

When you want to come into politics, come into it with good reasons but not that one that is not patriotic and it's self centered. Reasons and process to success matter a lot to either have it or not.

I can't just bring all narrations fully. Though, I brought local instances too. The ones that they are easily see achievable and profitable if they think creatively.....

After all, we reached a conclusion. Even when I am sick for four days now. We've been on contact for business talks.

Let change our mindset.

Let talk entrepreneur.

God bless Nigeria.
