Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu Aketi SAN, has returned to Akure, the state capital today, Friday November 8, 2019 amidst pomp and pegantry.
The visibly happy people of the state trooped out enmass to welcome their governor who has been attending to some official assignments in Abuja, FCT, for some weeks.
While in Abuja, Governor Akeredolu received an award of the African innovative governor of the year.
He also witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with medicus International, Germany. The Governor also attended the Nigeria Governors’ Forum meeting and hosted the Southwest Governors’ Forum meeting at the state Lodge, Asokoro Abuja.
Arakunrin Akeredolu also attended the monthly National Economic Council Meeting, met with the new country director of the world bank, received the National Leader of the APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and some members of the National Working Committee of the APC.
