ARGUNGU FISHING AND CULTURAL FESTIVAL 2020 [Full Information]

Preparatory to the Year 2020 Argungu International fishing and Festival, the Argungu Emirate Council has Inaugurated Fifteen (15 ) Local Committees charged with Responsibilities of Making all Necessary Local Arrangements Leading to the Successful hosting of the Fishing Festival

The Event which took place at Council Chambers of Of The Emir Of Argungu last Saturday has An Attendance , all well-Meaning Sons And Daughters of the Emirate Including Traditional Rulers And Council Member

In His Inaugural Speech ,The Emir Of Argungu Alh Samaila Muhammad Mera CON Announced that the Main Objective of Constituting the Local Committees is Not Unconnected With His Councils dertermination and resolve to ensure a sustainable And hitch - Free Argungu Fishing Festival Due to Hold in March 2020

The Emir also Disclose that as Host Community , the People of the Emirate must give every support and Co-operation to the Kebbi State Government in it's Determined efforts to re-invirorate the International Fiesta

Alh Samaila Muhammad Mera Therefore described Argungu fishing Festival As Unique and outstanding and also the most widely attended Festival Withing and Outside Nigeria and the Oldest known Festival of it's kind

He then Called on all wellto do Individual of the Emirate to contribute in whatever capacity they can to make the Festival a Beefing and Worthwhile event

The Emir then Urged Inaugurated Local Committees to Swing into action and ensure speedy execution of Various Assignment given to them
