Atiku, who was speaking at an interactive session with major players in the creative industry, said the failure of Nigeria to recognize the creative industry is at its own peril.
The creative industry is one of the revenue-generating sectors of the economy that could contribute to the prosperity of the country.
However, this industry has over the years been neglected.
The Director General of the PDP Campaign Council, Bukola Saraki and the PDP vice presidential candidate, Peter Obi, said the place of creative industry in Nigeria’s economy cannot be ignored.
Abubakar promised to provide the resources and enabling environment that will enhance the growth of the industry.
The interactive session was part of the PDP presidential candidate's continued consultation with relevant bodies in the Nigerian project.
