Gombe state government says it is concerned about how the policies and achievements of the Dankwambo administration would be sustained and not bothered on mischievous comments or cheap blackmail.
The state government stated this while reacting to some comments from members of the main opposition party in the state, the All Progressives Congress on governance in Gombe state.

The state government said it is not bothered about the antics of the opposition given the huge achievements in the state, but it is focused on sustaining the peace being experienced in the state beyond 2019 general elections.
