President Muhammadu Buhari is about now arriving Abuja after a one-day visit to Bauchi State North-East Nigeria


The president visited the state this afternoon to be part of the political campaigns ahead of the August 11 Election in the Bauchi south senatorial district.

This would be the third time the President is visiting Bauchi state this year.
He was received at the Airport by the State Governor, Muhammed Abubakar in company of the Governors of Imo, Kano and Plateau States and the National Chairman of the Ruling party, APC Adams Oshiomhole.
President Buhari is expected to begin a 10-day working leave on Friday and will be travelling to London.

In his absence, the Vice President Professor Yemi Osinbajo will take charge as Acting President.
