Imo State Indigenes Getting Prepared Fore 2019 Election ||


Residents in Imo state, south east Nigeria have expressed frustration with the process of registration and collection of permanent voters’ cards 
They are calling on INEC to provide more registration centers to reduce the suffering of those who want to obtain the permanent voters cards, PVC, before the august 31 deadline.
The Owerri municipal council headquarters witnessed a large turnout of people trying to make last minute efforts to obtain the permanent voters cards as the new deadline set by INEC inches close.
With hours counting down to the August 31st date, the people want the electoral commission to further extend the exercise considering the snail speed at which the process is moving.
But, the electoral officer in charge of Owerri municipal council, Andrew Ereforokuma is expressed concern over the poor response of already registered people in the collection of their permanent voters’ cards, PVCS.
