Governor Bello gave the advice during the official parade to discharge one thousand, nine hundred and eighty-one corps members from the state orientation camp in Asaya, Okun land.
Governor bello who was happy with the positive reports on the corps members from the camp director and state NYSC coordinator, promised to make their stay memorable as he announced ten thousand naira to be given to each of them for transportation to their places of primary assignment and another five thousand naira each as addition to their monthly allowance.
He advised them to be good ambassadors of Nigeria during and after the service year.
Governor Bello also announced a sum of five million naira to be given to the family of Olukoju Jacobs Olajide who died after a brief illness a day to the passing out of the corps members from the orientation camp
The NYSC state coordinator Ahile Omolara expressed appreciation to the state government for its efforts at making the corps members comfortable and secure
She also thanked governor Bello for the transport package given to corps members and the hand of benevolence extended to the family of the deceased NYSC member.
