Killings: Plateau Govt. To Review Security Architecture To Close Identified Gaps

The Plateau state Government says it will review the security architecture of the state, following series of attacks that left scores of people dead and many others injured.

Governo Simon Lalong stated this in Jos at monthly prayer organised by the State Government.
The Governor said that the security architecture of the state is being reviewed to close identified gaps during the unfortunate attacks on some communities in the state. He said that relevant laws were also being reviewed to ensure maximal penalties against the perpetrators of the attacks.
Lalong condemned those exploiting the unfortunate incident for political gains. He said that it was wrong to play politics with the lives of people.
Deputy Chaplain of the Chapel Reverend Ezekiel Dawan, in his sermon urged believers to pray for peace in the land.
