Chelsea are looking to complete a stunning €100m double swoop for a star Juventus pair, according to the latest reports.
Italian outlet Tuttomercatoweb claim that Juventus are quickly trying to raise funds to pull off a sensational move for Cristiano Ronaldo.
As a result, they are ready to sanction the sales of duo Gonzalo Higuain and Daniele Rugani to Chelsea, with the Blues set to make a move once Maurizio Sarri is appointed.
However, Higuain’s agent and brother Nicolas has moved to quash the speculation recently, by claiming that there have been no talks with Chelsea.
The Argentina striker has been heavily linked with a €60m move to Stamford Bridge – potentially as part of a swap deal with Alvaro Morata.
Meanwhile, Sportitalia claimed last week that a deal was virtually completed to bring Rugani to Stamford Bridge for €32m plus €3m bonuses.
Rugani’s agent – Davide Torchia – recently hinted that his client’s future would become more certain based on Chelsea’s managerial situation.
“It is obvious to say that the Sarri question must first be resolved, then proceed with the negotiations and make them more or less concrete,” he told Sportitalia.
